Patumwan Demonstration School is looking for a dedicated, professional full-time English teacher to teach lower and upper Secondary students. The successful applicant would have the knowledge and experience to teach a wide array of English classes, from lower-intermediate general ESL classes to higher level literature/critical reading classes. Applicants who have experience teaching expository writing, test preparation and coaching debate would also be favorably looked upon.
The basic workload will be up to 17 periods of 50 minute classes. The teacher will also participate in school activities such as morning assembly, building monitoring, field trips and workshops.
Candidates must be nationals of the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years teaching experience. Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree to be considered, although a Master's degree is preferred. Additional qualifications including TEFL certificates or Teaching Diplomas are strongly encouraged.
