CELTA Qualified English Teachers
(February start)
Teach English to All Ranges from Young Learners to Teenagers to University Students and Business People at IH Bangkok
The ability to teach English and tutor maths, science and/or business studies up to IGCSE / A-level / SAT II or have a degree in a related field is preferred. IH Bangkok is a British managed affiliate of the International House World Organisation (IHWO). In its dual role as both a Language School and Teacher Training Centre, IH Bangkok specialises in the areas of Teacher Training and Teaching a broad range of subjects including English, and many other subjects through English.
As you would expect from any IHWO affiliate, the school genuinely values the contributions its staff make, and is committed to providing its teachers with a supportive and friendly environment in which development can be nurtured. Requirements
Applicants must be able to express a desire to teach a range of different learners typical in a language centre and show a particular interest in teaching Young Learners / Teenagers.
Applicants must be:
- CELTA/Trinity/IHC qualified or equivalent
- native speakers
- hold a full degree for the purposes of visa regulations.
In addition, applicants should be full of energy and enthusiasm, with a professional work ethic and genuine interest in teaching.
The school welcomes applications from newly qualified EFL teachers (with one of the qualifications listed above) as well as from more experienced teachers.

We offer:
Salary range 35,000 - 45000 based on experience.
