English Teacher for Weekday Evenings

If you have a TEFL Certificate or equivalent training, are a native speaker, passionate about teaching, willing to volunteer an hour per week teaching orphans, are friendly, reliable and considerate, then you might be the right person for this job.
Our school runs 5-week courses for students of all ages. We offer conversation, reading, writing, listening, grammar, business, and test preparation courses (TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, SAT Verbal and Essay parts).
Our courses never consist of more than 6 students, which enable us to give personal attention and keep a friendly and caring atmosphere. You will commit for only 5 weeks a time.
The pay for these courses is 300 baht/hour if there are less than 4 students in the class, and 400 baht/hour if there are 3-6 students in the class. Classes given at companies (Mondays and Wednesdays 5.30-7.30 pm) pay 500 baht per hour. All our courses take place on weekends and weekday evenings. I have worked with Filipino teachers for several years, and I know from experience that many of you speak excellent English and do a great job. Unfortunately, many Thai students and their parents demand a teacher coming from England, Australia, and USA etc. and consequently I cannot offer you a job at our school. I am very sorry that these stereotypes exist in Thailand, and I understand the frustration many of you feel.
