The Company
Ideal English Academy is a private language school that designs, develops and provides high-quality educational programs for learning English for all age groups, but primarily to private schools in the greater Bangkok metropolitan area. We provide our client schools with curricula and teachers for their various English-based programs.
The Positions
Grade 11-12 English Subject Teacher for our highly respected English Program in Klong Toei. Candidates should be able to teach advanced grammar and writing skills as well as test-taking techniques for TOEFL and other entrance exams. Experience with student-centered learning or project based learning would be an advantage as would a willingness to be involved in the very busy extra-curricular life of the school. All applicants must be native speakers of English. Salary 40,000B++. Start Date April 2012. Please quote Ref EPS1 when applying.
Grade 10-12 Mathematics and Business Teacher, again for our highly respected English Program in Klong Toei. Candidates should have Mathematics major or minor at university level and have experience teaching at a secondary level. You Should have test taking skills and experience with student-centered learning is a plus. Non-native speakers are welcome to apply but should have a TOEFL score of 90(OBT) or 577(PBT) or above. Salary 40,000B++. Start Date April 2012. Please quote Ref EPMB2 when applying.
Primary Science Teacher for our English Program in Klong Toei. Candidates must have at minimum 2 years teaching experience with young learners, preferably in teaching science, and must be native speakers of English. Salary 40,000B++. Start Date June 2012. Please quote Ref EPS3 when applying.
Lower Primary English Teacher needed in Klong Toei. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree of education or equivalent teaching credentials, have at minimum 2 years teaching experience with young learners and must be native speakers of English. Salary 40,000B++. Start Date June 2012. Please quote Ref EPE4 when applying.
English Teachers needed for our successful Intensive Program at our client schools at Klong Toei and Don Muang. In our IP Program you will be teaching listening, speaking, reading and writing. This position will be primary based only, and would be approximately 20 - 24 classes per week. All applicants must be native speakers of English. Salary 38,000B++. Start Dates February and April 2012. Please quote IP5 for Klong Toei and IPD6 for Don Muang when applying.
All quoted salaries are after successfully passing a 3 month probationary period.

All of our teaching applicants must have the following qualifications and documentation in order to comply with Thai Ministry of Education legislation:
• B.Ed degree OR BA in Education OR a Bachelor's degree in any subject plus TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, PGCE
• letter of reference certifying at least 2 years teaching experience in a primary or secondary school setting.
• police clearance certificate
