Part Time English Teacher
DESCRIPTION
American Language Bangkok is a new school which is expanding rapidly. Recent growth has created the necessity for an additional teacher to support the lead teacher. Currently, we have one lead teacher and a part-time teacher who will be returning to the USA for a brief period starting in June. We will need a replacement for him.
POSITION
Responsibilities will include teaching private students (one-on-one) and small groups conversational EFL. Lessons are typically 1-2 hours in length. A high level of professionalism is required.
The ideal candidate will have teaching experience along with an excellent rapport with students. Fun is the key to every lesson here at American Language. You should be affable, have a sense of humor, love to smile and sincerely care about your student’s abilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of experience.
- A high level of grammar which goes beyond verbs, nouns and objects.
- TEFL Certificate
- A sense of humor. Talkative. Extroverted. Adventurous.
- A four year University degree. BA in education preferred but not necessary.
- experience with INTERCHANGE textbooks a plus.
- NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER from the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand...
WAGES: 400 baht / hour
