I am writing to express my interest to offer tutorial for the upcoming semester. I can help students in the areas of Accounting, Mathematics, Science and Conversational English.

I am a 29-year-old Filipino citizen. I was graduated with academic honors from Leyte Normal University, one of the centers of excellence for teacher education in my home country. I completed the degree of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (BSEd), major in Physics and Technology through a scholarship grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conferred upon me the license to practice my profession after I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

Subsequently, I completed with academic honors the degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) at the Saint Paul’s Business School (now Saint Paul School of Business and Law). The PRC has also conferred upon me my second license, as a Certified Public Accountant, after I passed the CPA Board Examination.

My desire to further educate myself prompted me to take the Certified Financial Analyst program, a three-level course leading to the CFA designation. I passed the Level 1 in June 2009.

Although my work experience of over three years – Associate for Ernst & Young in the Philippines and Cost Controller for Saudi Oger, Limited in Saudi Arabia – is in the field of Accounting, I believe that my penchant for education will exude a natural dedication to help young minds achieve their full potential. In addition, my background in both academe and finance will make my contribution more relevant to preparing students for active future roles in commerce and government.
