IDEAL ENGLISH ACADEMY (www.engideal.com):

We are a private, Thai-owned but Western-managed language school that provides curriculum and teachers for the following programs at the Sacred Heart Convent schools in Bangkok:

Sacred Heart Convent School (www.shc.ac.th), Klong Toey, Bangkok. Here we run three separate programs: an English Program (EP), a Conversational English Program (ACE) teaching 2 language skills, and an Intensive English Program teaching 4 language skills.

We require a PE teacher and an English Program teacher for this school.

Sacred Heart Don Muang, Bangkok (near the old airport). Here we offer our students; a Conversational English Program (ACE) teaching 2 language skills, and an Intensive English Program teaching 4 language skills.

Sacred Heart School Nonthaburi (www.ptn.ac.th), Nonthaburi (a suburb of Bangkok): We run an Intensive Program here for students, P1 through M3 and a mini EP program for G1-G3. We require 3 teachers for this school, all teaching in the Primary department for the Intensive Program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EP applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree of education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching credentials. ACE and Intensive Program applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (any subject) and a TEFL certificate or equivalent. All MUST be native speakers of English. (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK & USA only)

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:

• (EP) B38,000-B45,000/month salary;
• (IP) B36,000-B40,000/month salary;
• (ACE) B33,000-B35,000/month salary;
• 1-year (12-month) contracts;
• B30,000 contract completion bonus;
• 5-day work week (20-24 contact hours/week, depending on program);
• 13 paid public holidays;
• 20 days paid vacation leave;
• 6 days paid sick leave;
• 4 days paid official leave;
• Life, accident and health insurance;
• Teacher’s license, work permit and 1-year visa (arranged/provided by IDEAL).
