Mathematics Teacher

Salary 31,000 THB per month. The monthly salary is increased 2,000 THB per month for each year completed at Oonrak up to a ceiling of 35,000 THB in the third year of employment. Salary by negotiation in the fourth year.
QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must be able to speak English fluently (a native speaker is preferable, but it is not a condition) . A Mathematics Degree or a Bachelor of Teaching or Education, or a Post-graduate Diploma in Teaching or Education.
EXPERIENCE
A teacher with relevant teaching experience in a primary school.
THE SCHOOL
The school is a new building purpose built with all the facilities, resources and staff to deliver a world class curriculum.
AGE RANGE
In 2010 we will have a full intake from nursery to year 6. ( 3 -13 years of age ).
THE CURRICULUM
This particular vacancy would suit a teacher who is able to deliver the National Curriculum for England Key stage 1 & 2.
CONTRACT AND HOLIDAYS
The contract, visas and documentation are for a 12 month period. There a 15 days of public holidays throughout the year which are paid. There is also a two week paid holiday in October. Teachers are not required to be in school during the month of April.
HOLIDAYS AND BENEFITS
The contracts begin on 1st May and terminate on the 30th April. There are approximately 13-15 public holidays in each year.
When these holidays occur on a teaching day the school is closed. These holidays are paid.
There will be a paid holiday of two weeks during the month of October
The month of April is not worked. A loyalty and efficiency bonus is paid for the month of April
Total paid holiday is approximately 9 weeks per year
Five days teaching per week.
23 contact hours and 17 preparation hours per week
Visa, work permit and the Certificate of Thai Language, Culture and Professional Ethics provided free of charge.
24 hour helpline to an English speaking school manager, who can sort out any immediate crisis.
Free in-service training, guidance and professional support when the need arises
The contract is renewable by mutual agreement
