Ajarn.com is proud to announce a recruitment partnership with Disney English Centers in China and we are looking to recruit teachers to work at a Disney center in either Beijing or Shanghai (other centers in other regions will open later in the year)
This is an ongoing demand throughout 2011.
Disney English uses an innovative and immersive program, leveraging beloved Disney characters, stories, songs, animation and other materials, to provide a highly engaging and effective learning experience.

We're looking for the following; (Please read the ad carefully)
1) Experienced, enthusiastic Foreign Trainers to lead classes of learners from two years old to 12 years old (starting salary package approx 70,000 baht)
2) Language Learning Directors to manage academic operations at Disney centers.

Requirements for Foreign Trainers:
You should be a native speaker of English (born and raised in a country where English is used as the first language) This includes The UK, America, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
Sorry but Disney English does not recognise The Philippines as a native English speaking country.
You should have a minimum of two years full-time teaching experience (preferably with young learners) For the director positions, the requirement is five years full-time experience.
You should have references on letter-headed stationery to support at least two years teaching experience (or five years for the director positions)
You should be energetic, adaptable and creative.
You should be able to bring excitement and personality to a Disney classroom.
You will be aged between 25 and 39. (please note that you ABSOLUTELY MUST be 25-39. We are getting inundated with resumes from teachers who are 'over 39' or 'look 39 but are over 39' or 'feel 39 but are over 39' - I'm sure you get the picture. You need to be between 25 and 39 years old or the application process cannot be taken any further)
You should hold a Bachelors degree (preferably but not necessarily in education)
You should ideally hold a TEFL certificate (either full-time or on-line)
You should be able to commit to a 12-month contract

The Disney Centers employment package for foreign teachers includes;
A starting salary of 10,500 RMB a month rising to 12,000 RMB for a senior foreign trainer (with six months of Disney experience)
Language center directors start on 18,000 RMB per month.
Plus a housing allowance of up to 4,350 RMB per month
An arrival bonus
A 3-week hotel stay upon arrival
Full assistance with visas, medicals and finding affordable housing
Dental and medical insurance
Paid flight from Thailand to China
Paid flight to country of origin upon completion of contract
Performance bonuses
10 paid sick days
5 vacation days + 11 national Chinese holidays
Two consecutive days off per week (but not weekends)
A maximum of 24 classroom contact hours per week
