Rayong Wittayakom Scool is located in the Muang district of the Rayong Province on the east coast of Thailand. Rayong is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Bangkok with numerous van and bus services that make it very convenient to access the big city if you're ever in the mood.
We are looking to hire one native English speaker from a western country to join our Foreign Languages Department at Rayong Wittayakom School. The job opening is for the Matthayom 1 level. The contract on offer is for one year and is renewable upon completion. Most of our teachers have been here for at least a few years and many have chosen to settle down and make Rayong their home. The contract includes 18 teaching hours per week, but you are expected to make yourself available at school from 8-3 for office hours, grading, and various other school activities we have going on. We are a very close community oriented school with more than 4,000 students ranging from grades M1-M6, so there is a lot going on most of the time. Rayong is an industrial city with many companies nearby and quite a few language schools, so finding extra work to supplement your income is also easy to do. Interested applicants must be a native speaker, must have a BA degree from an accredited western university, be friendly, flexible, and have a good sense of humour.
