English for Communication/Conversation teachers
To be considered for the positions, you must be a native speaker of English and have degrees in the above mentioned majors or related fields. Some experiences teaching Thai children and a TEFL certificate are preferred.
- Teaching primary school or secondary school students, 20 hours/week (The teacher works Mondays-Fridays, 8:00-16:00 hrs.)
- Salary: 25,000 baht - 35,000 per month depending on your qualifications and experiences.
- Working visa (Non-immigrant B visa) is facilitated but the teachers pay for expenses.
- Accommodation is assisted to find by LS staff in a walking distance to the school. The teacher pays for the rent. It costs around 2,500-4,500 baht per month depending on a location.
- Starting date: May 16 or June 1, 2011 Finishing date: February 28, 2012 (with possibility of extension, depending upon your performance)
- During the school break on September 16 - October 31, there will be no classes, so no payment will be made. You can go on your holiday. However, LS will help pay 4,500 baht for your accommodation.
