  • Prathom 1 to Prathom 6
  • Mathayom 1 to Mathayom 3

THE SCHOOL
Aksorn Suksa
LOCATION
Naklua Road, North Pattaya

THE POSITION Commences 1st May 2010:

  • Teacher for Prathom 1 (6 year olds) to Prathom 6 (11 year olds) These classes receive 1 hour tuition pw with foreign teacher.
  • Teacher for Mathayom 1 (12 year olds approx) to Mathayom 3 (14 year olds approx) These classes receive 2 hours tuition with foreign teacher

CONDITIONS:

  • Probationary period
  • Up to 21 hours teaching time
  • Some OT may be available
  • Salary commensurate with both qualifications and experience. Annual salary increments. salary quoted is nett amount
  • Health Insurance – Bupa Ruby Classic
  • Paid annual leave – 7 weeks (4+3)
  • Work Permit

ESSENTIAL

  • A university degree that can be verified
  • A teaching qualification (TEFL / TESOL acceptable)
  • Be a native English speaker (eg Australia, NZ, Canada, Great Britain)
  • Have a knowledge and respect for Thai culture
  • Be able to work as a team member as well as be able to work independently as required.
  • Be energetic and enthusiastic about teaching
    DESIRABLE
  • A non Immigrant B Visa
  • Some previous teaching experience

  • These positions are not in Language Schools, they are in regular schools. These schools have a life, they have a community. Teachers need to be able to become part of that school community.
