One native speaking, semi-qualified language school teacher required, (preferably female) to teach high quality reading and writing skills to children of all ages.
Mr. Tim's Learning Land is a new concept in language schools delivering quality synthetic phonics programmes direct from the UK classroom to Thai and International school children with the goal of improving children's pronunciation, reading, reading comprehension and writing composition skills.
Under the guidance of fully qualified UK Primary Teachers, we are looking for one highly motivated individual to be trained in all areas of synthetic phonics teaching.
One part-time position is available starting immediately and will initially involve a 3 day teaching week. (All day Sunday and also Monday / Tuesday afternoons and early evenings). This position will then lead to full-time employment from March 2011 onwards.
You will need to meet the following requirements:
1. Native English speaker, preferably from the UK
2. University degree (verifiable)
3. CELTA or TEFL (120 hrs face to face)
4. Experience of teaching young children 4+
5. A willingness to use ICT in the classroom (all classrooms have IWB's)
6. A genuine love of teaching and desire for teaching professionalism and excellence.
In return we will offer you:
- Starting Salary of 30,000 THB per month (part-time) leading to 50,000 THB (full-time).
- Additional guaranteed Summer School Salary (half of full time wage) March-August.
- One year renewable contract.
- Two consecutive days holiday per week (full-time position)
- 4 weeks paid holiday per year, plus national holidays.
- Visa and work permit paid assistance.
- BUPA medical insurance with good coverage.
- Very strong support in all areas of training and CPD.
