I'm looking for a native English speaking teaching who can start at Manchasuksa High School in Khon Kaen next week! If you're mobile and looking for a job, this could be a great opportunity.
The students are typical public school students - they're good-natured and a lot of fun to work with. You'd be focusing on conversation using our company's curriculum (Media Kids), so that means it's significantly less work in terms of keeping records and a lot more fun.
In general, this is a great position for teachers who don't want to spend large amounts of time doing lesson plans. We take care of all the lesson plans for you, and you just tailor it to the respective level of your students.
The position would start now, and would be contracted through the end of the semester, which is mid-April. For the first two weeks in April, most of the students will be doing finals, so you'd largely have free time.
If you want to continue and the school likes you, you can extend your contract for the next semester, and continue that process indefinately. We pay you for the month you'd have off for school vacation if you extend.
We are one of the few companies in Thailand to provide housing. You'll receive an apartment or an apartment allowance (your choice), plus 50% accident insurance (you'll pay about 200 baht monthly), and visa/work permit sponsorship and documentation.
Pay is between 32k-36k Thai baht monthly, depending on experience. All of that money is take-home income - no taxes. In Khon Kaen, you'll be able to go out five nights a week and travel on the weekends and still save 12-18k baht each month. It's like making $80,000 in a typical American city.
If you're interested, email me your resume and headshot immediately. It's best if you're already in Thailand, but those who are abroad and can fly this week could be considered.
Make sure you have your Thai cell number or Skype ID so we can contact you directly.
If you're chosen, we'll also need scans of your four-year university diploma (this is required), and scans of your passport for visa processing.
