British training company and interviewing / screening applicants for English teaching positions in Qatar.

Instructors are required from February / March 2010 for one-year renewable contracts.

Salary equivalent to 25,000 sterling tax free per annum. Accommodation and transport provided.

Please note that only native speakers of English will be considered.

Applicants must have:

• At least 5 years experience teaching adult students
• A TEFL certificate obtained from a full-time, recognized TEFL program (preferably CELTA)
• A Bachelors degree from a recognized university (all degrees will be authenticated)
• Two letters of reference

General information:

• Teaching may be at any one of a number of locations including offshore locations.
• The trainees are working adults generally ranging from beginner to intermediate level of English with some upper intermediate and advanced.
• Contractors teach up to 25 hours as part of a 40-hour working week. Standard working hours are Sunday to Thursday, 6.30 am-2.30 pm. There is also an afternoon training shift from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm. Some weekend (Friday-Saturday) work may be required.
• Working with a busy team, this is a challenging and rewarding job. Technical experience or experience in the oil and gas industry may be an advantage. These posts are located in and around Doha.
• Contracts are on a single status basis and are one-year in length initially and renewable.
