Hello!

We are a private English language centre, “English School by Kru Tan’, and we’re hiring part-time, long-term, native English instructors to run our Speaking Course at our centre on Latphrao 101/3.

Our students are smart, already know basics, and we want you to get them speaking and using daily English effectively!

What you’ll do: – instruct 1-5 students for 2 hours each in a semi-private speaking room (pre-designed curriculum! Each student has their own group/course textbooks and you’ll guide them through the lessons) – encourage speaking with interactive questions, daily conversations, and pronunciation/grammar reminders (each program has some Listening practice that is done in the session as a group) – have fun, encouraging, yet relaxed and effective lessons

What you won’t do: – traditional classroom style to 30+ students – pronunciation over-drilling – grammar repetitiveness

The Details:
We are a new centre primarily operating our Speaking course every Saturday and Sunday, with sessions as follows:
1: 8:00-10:00
2: 10:00-12:00
3: 13:00-15:00
4: 15:00-17:00
(when more students enroll, we will open sessions and continue to expand into the week)

Each class has only 1-5 students plus the instructor.

Students are high school aged at the Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate levels, and each have their own textbooks for use in-class and to bring home. (no prep needed from the instructor)

We pay based on a session taught / day rate system. We do prefer your availability be for the whole day (8:00-17:00), and we will pay you for the day. Day rate = ฿3,200.
If only one session is scheduled by 20:00 the previous day, we will pay ฿400/hr, and you won’t need to stay at the office for the other unscheduled times.

Any gender
Hold a TESOL/CELTA/TEFL
Hold a Bachelors Degree (visa / work permit purposes upon full-time)
