Only candidates that fit the following criteria will be considered:
• FILIPINO
• Bachelors Degree in EDUCATION
• 1 year of teaching experience within Thailand
The successful candidate will be creative, energetic, friendly, self motivated and enthusiastic. Holding a Thai teaching license would be advantageous, as would any qualifications or experience teaching art, physical education and computer studies at primary level.
The successful candidate will initially be offered a contract until March before a rolling 12 month contract from March to March each year. The starting salary will be 18,000 baht per month, with a salary increase dependent on performance each year. A bonus of 20,000 baht will be paid on satisfactory completion of a 12 month contract.
Full assistance will be given to obtain the visa and work permit, however, the costs will be paid for by the successful applicant. All teachers will be covered by health insurance for the duration of their contract. The contract will include paid sick leave, paid Thai public holidays and a paid vacation in October (2 weeks) and March/April/May (5 weeks).
Areewattana School is based in the city of Rayong (2 and 1/2 hours east of Bangkok) and has students aged 2 - 13 years old.
