GEC has a vacancy for an English teacher to teach prathom 1 and 2 students at an anuban school in Sisaket City.

Approximately 18 - 22 contact periods a week, the hours of work are from 07.30 to 16.00, Monday to Friday, with gate duty once a week.

All teaching materials are provided and our school coordinator is on hand to advise and assist our teachers.

Starting as soon as possible, the contract runs until March 2017.

All Thai national holidays are paid and two weeks of the mid-year break (around October) are paid holiday.

The salary for a native speaker with a degree is 32,000 baht per month depending on qualifications and experience, with a 20,000 baht completion bonus that is paid at the end of the contract in March 2017.

Short-term hotel accommodation will be provided on arrival and our coordinator will provide help and advice to select a house or an apartment close to their school.

All documentation and full assistance is given to obtain a non-immigrant B visa from Savanakhet, Laos, and a work permit will be provided.

Applicants must be living in Thailand now and able to attend an interview at short notice and start as soon as possible.

Ideally, applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and an English teaching qualification, such as TEFL, TESOL or CELTA.

Please note that we can only accept applications from native English speakers, South Africans and teachers with near-native fluency from European countries.
