Bell Educational Trust is recruiting for an experienced ELT professional to be responsible for the effective running of the academic programme, ensuring maximum quality, efficiency and client satisfaction at our partnership English programme at the Thai-Japanese Association School in Bangkok.
The Thai Japanese Association School (TJAS) is a well-established private co-educational day school for Japanese elementary and junior high school students in Bangkok. The Thai Japanese Bell Language Project (TJB) is one of a number of independent language centres and partnership projects associated with Bell International in Thailand specialising in the delivery of EFL.
All TJB language project staff are contracted by the Thai Japanese Association School (TJAS) and teach both Elementary and Junior High classes.
Responsible for course direction, course development, evaluation, timetabling, and the management and professional development of teaching staff, you will work in close collaboration with Japanese members of staff in the school to ensure that Bell Quality Standards are maintained.
Applicants must have the following qualifications and documentation in order to comply with Thai Ministry of Education legislation:
- A B.Ed degree OR a Bachelors of Education OR a Bachelor’s degree plus PGCE
- Letter of attestation certifying at least 1 year’s teaching experience in a primary or secondary school setting.
- A police clearance certificate
Highly desirable are:
- A strong background in ELT Management
- Experience of working in a Japanese school setting
- MA TESOL
We can offer you:
- two year (24-month) renewable contract
- starting salary range from 69,000 – 73,000 THB per month (dependent upon qualifications and experience)
- 9,000 THB per month towards housing costs
- assistance towards the cost of a flight for staff recruited outside of Thailand
