An additional native English speaker is required by American Academy Language Center in Surat Thani city. Students range from young children to adults who are preparing to undertake an IELTS or TOEIC exam. Total working hours are 25 per week consisting of 5 hours per day for 5 days. Teachers have 2 consecutive days off per week, on weekdays. Earliest start time is 10:00 am and latest finish time is 7:00 pm. Some days will involve split shifts, e.g. 10-12 & 3-6. Relaxed, easygoing working environment with no micromanagement and very little paperwork. Applicants need to be self-starters who do not need anyone constantly holding their hand. This truly is a quality position, suitable for a person who takes a professional approach to their teaching duties but doesn't want to be overworked or overstressed. Salary ranges from B30,000 to B35,000 depending on experience.
