P/T ESP Teacher needed for a liquid chemical company on the Eastern Industry Estate near Rayong.
Pro Language is one of the leading corporations for second language studies in Thailand. We are currently looking for an experienced corporate English Teacher to join our team and work with one of our clients about 30 minutes outside of Rayong and Sattahip (Map Ta Phut Eastern Industrial Estate).
The course focuses on technical English for a Chemical storage/holding facility and is 60 hours in length. Classes are due to start on 1st September 2010. There is a fixed study schedule, but it is not repetitive and the study days change each week due to the shifts the students work. The client has requested an experienced teacher with a background in liquid chemical storage/handling if possible who can also provide interesting, fun, and engaging practical classes so that students can benefit by practicing real life situations at work.
The teacher for this position should be professional, energetic, and adaptable with the ability to create supplementary materials and include games and activities in every class. We would also like a reliable and punctual teacher who can commit to completing the course.
The position is paid at the rate of 600 Baht per hour, but 100 Baht will be retained from each hour to be paid upon completion of the course. There is a generous allowance for travelling expenses if you have your own car, or transport will be provided to and from the client's business premises if you do not have a car. The client would like a demo from the teacher on 26th August 2010.
Our requirements for this position are:
1. Candidates must be native English speakers from the U.K., U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or Canada.
2. Liquid chemical storage/handling experience very desirable (or experience teaching English to a similar company).
3. Be available to teach the complete course.
4. 120 hour TEFL, CELTA or equivalent.
