We are currently looking for an experienced corporate English Teacher to join our team and work with one of our clients about 30 minutes outside of Rayong and Sattahip (Map Ta Phut Eastern Industrial Estate).
Pro Language is one of the leading corporations for second language studies in Thailand. We are currently looking for an experienced corporate English Teacher to join our team and work with one of our clients about 30 minutes outside of Rayong and Sattahip (Map Ta Phut Eastern Industrial Estate).
The course focuses on technical English for a Chemical storage/holding facility and is 60 hours in length. Classes are due to start on Tuesday 7th September 2010. There is a fixed study schedule of one class every 6 days due to the shifts the students work, so this would only be suitable for teachers who do not have full-time/regular employment. Classes are 3 hours from 13.00 to 16.00.
The client has requested an English teacher who has experience or a background in liquid chemical storage/handling/transfer if possible or a teacher with 'Industrial English' experience. The teacher must also be capable of providing interesting, fun, and engaging practical classes so that students can benefit by practicing real life situations at work.
The teacher for this position should be professional, energetic, and flexible with the ability to create work related supplementary materials or change a planned lesson to meet an urgent on-the-job requirement. Classes should include games and activities as well as lots of opportunities to practice speaking. We would also like a reliable and punctual teacher who can commit to completing the course. The client would also give preference to a teacher who has intermediate Thai listening/speaking skills.
The position is paid at the rate of 600 Baht per hour, but 100 Baht will be retained from each hour to be paid upon completion of the course. There is a generous allowance for travelling expenses of 1,000 Baht per trip for car owners.
Requirements for this position are:
1. Candidates must be native English speakers from the U.K., U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or Canada.
2. Liquid chemical storage/handling experience preferable, but 'Industrial English' teaching experience would also be acceptable.
3. Be available to teach the complete course.
4. 120 hour TEFL, CELTA or equivalent.
5. Be living in or near the Sri Racha/Rayong/Map Ta Phut area and have your own transport.
