Job Responsibilities

Teach three grade levels of high school mathematics.

Collaborate with other members of the secondary department to continually revise and develop the math curriculum and integrate the math curriculum with other high school subjects.

Perform other non-teaching duties as assigned by the school principal.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for the high school math teacher position should possess:

A bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, mathematics education, or a closely related field (an advanced degree is preferred).

Content mastery of secondary mathematics ranging from Algebra-1 through Calculus

Two years of successful teaching experience in secondary mathematics.

Experience working in a diverse international community and strong cross-cultural skills.

Teacher certification in the one’s home state or country

Native (or native level) English speaker

Proficient in the use and integration of technology in the classroom, including SMART board Technology.

Willing to contribute regularly to school community activities
