Info: As from 1st October 2010, we have a vacancy for an experienced native English speaking teacher, to teach English and Sport.
The position involves teaching fundamental and elective courses of English grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking, reading and writing and sport.
Phitsanulok Pittayakom is a large well respected government boy's high school and our E-Programme has been running very successfully for over 7 years.

A general understanding of the Thai government school system is an advantage.
Applicants for this position must be a NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER from the U.K. Aust, U.S.A, Canada, N.Z., RSA., have a B.A. or higher degree and a TEFL or equivalent certificate.
Teachers who are non native speakers need not apply as the positions for non native English speakers have been filled. Only those applicants who fulfill the above requirements and have been short listed will be contacted.
The school is over 100 years old but our campus is new. Classrooms are modern, air-conditioned with up to date teaching aids available. Class sizes are small. The work load is between 18-20 periods per week, each period being 50 minutes.
The school offers a salary of 30 - 35.000 baht per month (neg. as per experience), a 12 month contract, 6 weeks paid vacation, Thai public holidays and a performance based yearly increase of wage. Work permit and visa will be paid for after the completion of a 1 year contract.
The position is subject to a 3 month probation period.
The foreign staff are treated as well respected members of the school community with a lot of help and support.
Phitsanulok is a large clean provincial city, half way between Bangkok and Chiang Mai and the cost of living is very reasonable.
