We are seeking a native speaker (or 100% fluent English user) to join our team at Satri Nakhon Sawan School, in the city of Nakhon Sawan which is 230km north of Bangkok.
The city is relatively large and has a large Chinese community. It’s a wonderful place to celebrate Chinese New Year which takes place in January or February each year. The city has a fantastic park at its centre where you can exercise or simply relax. It’s known as one of Thailand’s culinary centres , and has some excellent restaurants; in addition, there are an abundance of places to socialise after dark.
The school itself is one of the two largest in town and has an excellent reputation.
The role is teaching conversation to mainly M5 (grade 11) students, however the successful applicant will also teach a few M1 (grade 8) classes.
The contract will commence on 28th October 2013 and expire on 31st March 2014. Renewal discussions will take place early next year.
The salary payable is 35,000 baht per month. Contract hours are 0800-1630 Monday to Friday. Public holidays are paid.
The position requires a teacher who is immediately available and ideally you’ll be free to commence employment on 29th October 2013.
