+++The Project – FlexyTEFL Teaching Placements+++
FlexyTEFL is a distance learning TEFL that provides training and preparation for an introduction to teaching English as a foreign language. Having TEFL is essential to understanding how to teach English abroad. Once booked onto the course you have a guaranteed paid placement in Thailand. You can complete the course before you leave or during your placement, and the course if fully portable so you can learn anywhere! Teaching in a government or private school, class sizes are between 15 to 40 children with ages ranging from 3 years old to 18 years old. Teaching hours are 24 per week with working hours being approx. 35 hrs per week. Curriculum is provided.

Accommodation allowance is given in most placements and help to secure an appropriate apartment is at hand. Salary is approx. 30,000 THB per month (around £600 GBP), so you have plenty of money to enjoy yourself. Assistance in gaining a working visa is provided. Full TEFL certification will be provided as you complete our distance learning TEFL course, FlexyTEFL. You will also have ongoing support through our in-country coordinators.
Once you have your TEFL Certificate you will be able to teach English anywhere in the world!
+++Project duration, costs and person requirements+++
You will need to work at least 4 months from late October 2010. The start date for the FlexyTEFL course is after you pass a telephone interview with ETA.. The cost of the TEFL course and job guarantee is £400 GBP. The TEFL Certificate will be issued to you when you complete the distance learning course.
The teaching placement is geared towards graduates with a years part time or full time work experience who want experience in the TEFL industry but any graduate may apply who has enthusiasm and can cope in a very different culture. Anyone with an English or Education related degree will be favored.
