P/T (possibly F/T) Corporate English Teacher
Pro Language is one of the leading corporations for second language studies in Thailand.

We are currently looking for an experienced and highly professional Corporate English teacher to join our team and work with one of our clients in Laem Chabang (about 20km from Pattaya).

The client has not yet decided between studying at least two fixed courses of 50 hours on a part-time basis or offering us a one year contract which would entail the teacher being on-site from 09.00 to 17.00 (or similar hours), Monday to Friday. We are therefore hoping to find an individual who is seeking part-time corporate work, but who would also be interested in, and available to take on a full-time position. The successful candidate will:

• Be an extremely effective motivator.
• Be capable of developing and implementing new study programmes, curriculums, and teaching materials.
• Be very well organized and highly productive during non-teaching time.
• Be flexible, creative and capable of designing and running specialised English training sessions, workshops, and events.
• Be highly professional but also have a sense of humour.
• BE AVAILABLE TO TEACH A ONE HOUR DEMONSTRATION CLASS ON THURSDAY 24th DECEMBER 2009.

Please not that some of the above skills will only be applicable if the client chooses a full-time teacher.

Should the client choose to study part-time fixed length courses, there will be 2 courses, both 50 hours in total. These will focus on general business English for pre-intermediate and intermediate students. Class times/days, etc are not yet available.

The part-time rate is 500 Baht per hour with a travel allowance of 300 Baht per teaching day.
Should the client choose a full-time one year course, the teacher’s salary will be between 40,000 and 44,000 Baht per month with a maximum of 22 teaching hours per week and 10 days paid vacation per year in addition to all Thai public holidays. We would also provide assistance with obtaining a non-immigrant visa and then provide a work permit.

The position will commence in January 2010.

• Candidates must be native English speakers from the U.K., U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or Canada.
• Have at least 2 years corporate English teaching experience.
• 120 hour TEFL, CELTA or equivalent.
• Be available to teach the complete course/period.
• Own transport an advantage.
• Be available to teach a demonstration class on Thursday 24th December 2009 for one hour.
