Young Learner Specialist required - Bang Na
English For All Language School
English For All is small language school, which is tucked away in a quiet residential area of Bangna. The school itself has been open for around ten years, and it has a good reputation due to the English teachers and Thai staff, who care about the students' on-going education.
We cater for all age groups and levels from Young Learners to Adults. The youngest age of our pupils is six years old, and the manageable class sizes of 13 students mean that the teachers can use a broad range of activities to keep the classes fun yet educational. We also offer classes such as IELTS for students wishing to get accepted into overseas universities, and our pupils have a great success rate due to the test techniques they learn. The majority of our students, however, are teenagers at the beginner and elementary level.
All applicants applying for this vacant position must meet the following requirements:
- Native speakers only
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- TEFL qualified (CELTA preferred)
- Between 30 and 50 years old
- At least two years experience
- Energetic and creative
- Care about their students' education
- Enjoy teaching all ages and levels
The teaching week is from Thursday to Monday, and it consists of 30 teaching hours. The busiest days are Saturday and Sunday when the teachers are busy all day. This initially sounds a lot, but the enthusiasm from the students, and the atmosphere at the school mean all moments are enjoyed by the teachers as well as the pupils.
The contract lasts for thirteen months. The first month is a probationary period, and the new members of staff receive training in all areas to help polish their teaching skills. After this, the teachers sign a one-year contract. The training, however, continues and ideas and new activities are constantly shared in the teachers' room.
We offer a very competitive monthly salary which ranges from 40k to 52k per month, plus an end of contract bonus and, occasionally, paid overtime. The school also provides Bupa medical insurance and teaching licences. However, the teachers are expected to obtain their own Non Immigrant B Visa. Additional benefits include paid holidays at New Year, Songkran, and ten days for staff members to take at their leisure.
