Jolly Readers offers students starting from the age of 1.5 years up to 12 years a variety of programs to instil a love for reading, a solid foundation in phonics and grammar and to ensure strong reading skills. Using Jolly Phonics as a foundation, Jolly Readers adds various elements to make learning to read fun! Jolly Leaders (teachers) must have experience in teaching young learners. Leaders must be able to interact and connect with children, have dynamic personalities and some drama skills. Background in reading skills is a bonus. Anyone can teach phonics – however, Jolly Readers makes phonics fun and enjoyable for all learners!
Jolly Leaders must have the following:
- NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS ONLY
- Experience in teaching young learners
- Be Enthusiastic and Dynamic – enthusiasm is contagious and we want out students to catch it!
- Fun and Dynamic Personality – Jolly Readers makes reading fun for young readers. Dramatic abilities are needed!
- Adaptability and Flexibility – the ability to think
