Piano Instrumental Teacher required for Hatyai Music School, a music division of Jade Learning Center in Songkhla, Thailand
Hatyai Music School is seeking a passionate and qualified Piano Teacher to join our growing Music Division. An ability to teach another instrument would be an advantage. The Piano Teacher will report to the Director. The Teacher will be responsible for providing one on one private piano lessons as well as group lessons.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing group and individual instrumental teaching in areas of expertise with skill and diligence
• Carry out the teaching duties as set by the Director
• Comply with the timetable of the school
• Provide teaching of aural skills to students
• Assess the musical development of the students
• Liaise with parents as needed
• Prepare students for upcoming schools concerts and performance opportunities
Position will be commencing in January 2013. Nevertheless a slight later starting date is possible for the right candidate.
Package includes flight from Bangkok to Hatyai and a return ticket, 1-year paid working visa, housing allowance and government –subsidized medical plan. More details are available upon application.
A Bachelor of Music, Education or Diploma in Music is required for the position.
