The English Program of Samsenwittayalai School welcomes applications from qualified, experienced teachers looking for a vibrant, challenging and rewarding teach experience.

Qualifications:

• Male or female
• 40 years of age or under
• Native English speaker
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields, or a related field
• Teaching English as a foreign language Physical Education Mathematics Social science/social studies Culinary/work education
• 120 hour TEFL certificate
• Available to begin work on May 1st, 2012

Benefits

• Salary 20,000-35,000 baht/month depending on qualifications

• Visa extension, work permit, and teachers’ license will be paid by the school
• The school will provide assistance finding accomodation

Teaching Information:

• Teachers will work Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 15:30, and are only responsible for their classes, although some weekend work may be required infrequently, e.g. during parent-teacher conferences, or new student entrance exams.
• Teachers will teach 18 to 22 periods per week (one period = 50 minutes), but this may vary depending on circumstances, e.g. covering classes for absent teachers, or changes to the school calendar due to unforeseen environmental circumstances.
