As of November 2011, Kaplan has three branches in Bangkok: Siam Square, Central Lardprao, and Emporium. All three branches are located in centers of education, fashion, and entertainment. Our first and main branch is in Siam Square and which houses 11 classrooms, 3 video rooms, 1 computer lab, and 1 quiet self-study room. Our newest branch is Central Lardprao, which houses 8 classrooms, 1 video room, 1 computer lab and quiet self-study area. All classrooms are fully equipped with audio/visual equipment, a whiteboard, and an air conditioner. The number of students in each class is between 15 and 20; we also offer one-on-one tutoring and off-site classes. We are open 7 days a week from 9:00am to 9:00pm on weekdays and 9.00 am to 5.30 pm on weekends.
Job Description
A full-time teacher is required to work at least 75 hours a month including teaching hours, consultation hours, and outside classes, if requested. We request a full-time teacher to work on Saturdays and Sundays unless there is no class assignment
Qualifications
• Native English Speakers only from USA, U.K., AUS, etc.
• Graduates of top-ranked universities with exceptionally high scores on standardized tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT, GRE or SAT
• Possessing an ESL, EFL, ESP, CELTA certificate is an advantage
• Have a strong desire to improve students’ English abilities
• Patient, Flexible, hard working

Salary
We guarantee 75 hours each month at a starting rate of 48,000-Baht (paid on a monthly basis). Please keep in mind that under Thai law, teachers are responsible to pay a minimum 10% income tax.

Kaplan Thailand will provide 20,000 baht partial airfare subsidy when the teacher satisfactorily completes his/her one year contract.
