Phonics 1st requires 2 teachers for its Changwattana branch starting January 9th. Both are Sunday
Classes, one starting January 9th and the other January 23rd. Ages of students for these classes range from 3 to 8 years old. Class sizes are no bigger than 8 students per class.
Phonics 1st uses the Jolly Phonics program to teach students the main 42 sounds of English, blending for reading, identifying sounds in words and tricky words.
Our main requirements for teachers are:
1. To be comfortable teaching small children in groups of 4-8 per class.
2. To be able to engage the children at story time (Important for Step Class)
3. To be able to sing a variety of songs without a CD. (Important for Step Class)
4. To have knowledge of various TPR activities to use in the classroom.
5. To use games to help students remember letter sounds previously learnt.
Salary is 500 baht per hour.
