Unique opportunity to work for a small not-for-profit secondary (Matthayom) boarding school based in Pak Chong, Nakhorn Ratchasima. We are looking for a full-time ESL/ English teacher who shares our ideals, wants to contribute in areas of their own strengths and skills, and is happy learning with us the Buddhist way of life.

Job description and responsibilities
• Work hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays-Fridays, and 1 weekend half-day per month.
• Teaching periods per week: not more than 15 periods
• Class size: maximum 25 students, mostly smaller
• Salary: Negotiable, based on experience.
• Starting date: 24th April 2017.

Requirements
• Native English speaker or Thai national with exceptional English skills.
• Comfortable working and living in a Buddhist community of teachers and students.
• A commitment to continued self-improvement in line with the school's Buddhist values.
• Must be open-minded, self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and possess a sense of responsibility.
• Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree, and TEFL/CELTA certificate an advantage.
• At least one-year teaching experience preferable.
• Able to create lessons plans and materials that integrate both academic and life skills, following the school curriculum and our Buddhist Wisdom Education framework.
• Able to complete a 1-year contract.
• Participate in a 5-day student field trip each term, going to different parts of the country.
• Participate in various school activities, such as volunteer activities, sports and games, clubs, morning chanting, etc.
