Suratpittaya School is a highly renowned government high school located in Surat Thani. Surat Thani is a regional capital of the south of Thailand, and is the central hub to tourist destinations in the south, such as Koh Samui, Koh Panghan, Koh Tao and Krabi.
Surat Thani is set within an area of natural beauty including a number of national parks, jungles, lakes, waterfalls and hot springs.

Surat Thani is a friendly easy going town with major supermarkets and shopping facilities such as Tesco, Big C and Makro.

All applicants should have the following minimum qualification/ experiences:
:: Native English speaker
:: A Bachelor and or a Master degree in a relevant field.
:: Experience teaching preferably in Thailand. Exceptional candidates with no experience will be considered.
:: Willing to adapt to the Thai environment.

In return we will offer:
:: Excellent working conditions in modern air-conditioned classrooms and offices equipped with computers, projectors etc.
:: Salary scale beginning at 30,000-35,000baht per month dependant on background, qualifications and experience.
:: 4 weeks paid holiday per year (6 weeks for renewing teachers) and all official holidays.
:: Assistance in obtaining a Non-B visa.
:: Work permit, and teacher's license.
:: Teaching hours range from 15-22 a week.
:: Class sizes range from 25-32 students per class.
