General Information:

Srithammarat Suksa school is an 111 year old private Christian school in Nakon Si Thammarat, Thailand, formally called American Mission College AMC under the Church of Christ in Thailand. We are looking for responsible, motivated teachers to join our English Program Staff. Srithammaratsuksa is a well-established school with over 5000 students K-12. The English Program is now in its 10th year, and continuing to grow and improve in size, quality and reputation. We currently have a foreign staff of more than 30 from the US, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Srithammaratsuksa EP classes are under 30 students(many around 15) We have a friendly and supportive environment, beautiful tree-lined campus adjacent to a large city park, and NEW EP campus.

Our city, Nakon Si Thammarat, is an ancient trading capital with most modern western conveniences: internet, satellite TV, pizza, clubs, and shoping centers. Renting a house can be done for about 12% of monthly salary, leaving plenty to experience local culture in our medium-sized, non-touristic Thai city. Beaches, dolphins, mountains and waterfalls are within a short drive, and the famous tourist meccas of Samui, Ko Pa Ngan, Krabi and Phuket are a short drive away. The ‘farang’ and Thai community plus all the act ivies make living here super fun, relaxed and enjoyable.

Requirements:

Native-English speaker. (ONLY G.10-12 Math and Science jobs are open to perfect speaking ASEAN members.)
Bachelors’ degree
Fun, Hardworking, positive, energetic individual

Preferred:
Teaching degree
TEFL/TESOL
Teaching experience

Benefits:
A competitive salary. The salary scale, beginning at 32,000-45,000 (for returning/experienced teachers) Thai baht per month is based on qualifications and experience.
