AYC Intercultural Programs Thailand is looking for enthusiastic and responsible native English teachers with a Bachelor degree for our next semester which will start at the beginning of May 2012 to teach conversational English all around Thailand.Our programs are supported by the Ministry of Education in Thailand and the Government Savings Bank.
Currently, AYC is the biggest teacher placement organization in Thailand and we have over 200 teachers in 70 schools nationwide.

Our typical school-base and teacher placements are serving Government schools in Thailand consisting of poor to middle class children and our priority is to serve impoverished people. Still we associate with private schools as well.

If you want to work with a highly reliable company, with successful teacher back up, training and development staff and one fully compliant with Thai laws.

Job Descriptions and benefits:

- Teaching in kindergarten, primary, secondary and high school levels
- Outlined teaching curriculum provided
- Teaching hours not exceeding than 24 hours per week (office hours are 7:30 - 16:00, the average is 20 hours per week)
- Competitive salary between 32-36K THB based on qualification and experience
- Travel expenses while sending teachers to work locations paid by AYC either by coach or train (we might escort you there)
- Visa, work permit will be provided
- Fair foreign management with semi-annual contract for flexibility for our teachers, re signing bonus for the teachers who wants to continue with us

Academic year in Thailand starts in May for the first semester and the second semester starts in November. Semester breaks are during October and April. So if you want to apply for a teaching job in Thailand, please consider these dates.

- Academic degree/diploma/certificate/or college transcript
- Photocopy of the front page of valid passport
- Recent color photo
- Letter of recommendation or reference (optional)

Moreover, we will hold a mandatory seminar for our teachers at the beginning of May 2012. This seminar will be Thai Culture based, with hints and tips on how to teach successfully in Thailand. Hotel and breakfast will be paid by AYC and at the end you will receive a Thai Cultural Certificate which is essential in applying for your teaching license and work permit in Thailand. Normally this seminar costs around 6,000THB in Thailand but we will hold it non-fee for the benefit and development of our teachers. So you need to be in Thailand for this seminar during these dates.
