Part Time English Teacher, Bangkok
2 P/T English Teachers for a 2 day English Language Workshop
23rd and 24th June 2011 (Thurs/Fri)
Pro Language is one of the leading corporations for second language studies in Thailand. We are currently looking for an experienced and highly professional English teacher to join our team and work with one of our clients, a large Thai government department, The workshop is comprised of 12 hours of study time over 2 days,
Classes are from 09.00 to 12.00 and again from 13.00 to 16.00 with lunch provided. There will also be a 15 minute refreshment break in the morning and again in the afternoon each day.
The workshop is in Pathum Thani, transport to and from the site is provided from Mo Chit BTS station
Due to the nature of this contract, the successful candidate should have experience of teaching professional adults in a mixed ability group and be able to create lively, interactive and communicative sessions which create maximum opportunity for student participation. The client has requested that the teacher also be outgoing and energetic and be capable of motivating the students to participate and enjoy the workshop. The teacher must be confident of being able to work unsupervised with a large group (around 25 -30 attendees).
Study topics are provided, but the teacher will need to create his/her own lessons and prepare materials. All printing of materials can be done at our office. The client will provide a projector, a large screen, and a whiteboard.
The part-time rate is 2500 per day.
Our other requirements for this position are:
1. Candidates must be native English speakers from the U.K., U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or Canada.
2. Have at least 2 years English teaching experience with adult learners.
3. To have a 120 hour TEFL, CELTA or equivalent teaching certificate.
4. To be available to teach the complete period, both morning and afternoon.
