Full-time Music Teacher

This job is located at Nantawan International School in Samut Prakan

Music teacher
Nantawan International School (NIS), Bangplee, Samut Prakarn (Greater Bangkok), needs a Music teacher. The duties entailed by this position are to:
- teach music skills to KG, Primary and Secondary students;
- foster an appreciation of music;
- teach students to read music;
- help students learn how to play a specific instrument or sing;
- teach students music history and music theory;
- adhere to and develop music plans for the academic year;
- encourage the use of English language within a music environment;
- assist with School events and activities (e.g. Christmas, Fathers' Day etc);
- arrange demonstrations of students' musical skills by conducting a student concert, leading small recitals etc;
- make recommendations for new resources or materials required in the music department;
- organise a School marching band / choir.
Candidates should be qualified in Music and Education and have good English skills.
