Urgently Teachers Needed
Satree Phuket School (for more information click www.satreephuket.ac.th) is urgently seeking native English – speaking teachers to teach full time (18 -20 hours per week) to secondary students. (ages 13 – 18): start teaching in May 2011
Positions: 1. 2 Mathematics teachers 2. 1 Science teacher 3. 2 Social Studies teachers 4. 1 Thai history teacher 5. 1 Arts teacher 6. 1 Computer teacher 7. 3 English teachers (BA in English) 8. 1 ASEAN Studies teacher
Qualification: – Age not over 55 – Native English speaker/Thai – Minimum Bachelor Degree holder in their related subject field – Ability to work under pressure and solve problems – Willing ,positive and hard working – TEFL or CELTA certificate – Teaching experience is advantage, but not essential. *If you are Thai holding minimum Bachelor degree form universities in a native English speaking countries with at least 600 in TOFEL , you might be the right candidate for some positions. *If you apply for Computer teacher, we also expect you to be able to take care of the computer network systems or sever and manage the resource centre to benefit the students the best in their education.
Pay and benefits:
Pay :

  • General B.A. degree – 30,000 baht / month
*Specialized majors (1 – 9 above) degrees – 35,000 baht / month *General M.A. degree – 35,000 baht / month *Specialized M.A. major degree – 40,000 baht / month with a monthly housing allowance of 3,000 Baht.
Holidays : *7 sick – leave day *10 personal holidays (as necessary) Other benefits: – Work permit (valid non – B visa required) – Health insurance after three – month probation
