The Foundation for Legal Reform and Community Development is looking for a motivated grant writer to help us with our 2011 grant writing/funding goals. The Foundation for Legal Reform and Community Development is a recently launched non-profit organization in Bangkok, Thailand.
We are seeking a volunteer/intern that can help us with the following:
1. Conduct research on donors and foundations to target appropriate funding opportunities. Schedule meetings with potential funding organizations.
2. Draft proposals for grants and other types of funding
The volunteer should be available for 15 - 20 hours per week during office hours.
Preference will be given to volunteers with prior grant writing experience, but we are also open to volunteers who are motivated to learn and have an interest in human rights, legal reform and community reform in a Thai context.
This position is currently unpaid, but provided we receive funding the position might lead to compensated employment.
