Full-time Mathematics Teacher

The school wants a teacher with a Bachelors Degree, majoring in mathematics. You must have experience teaching in Thailand. The position is for a non native speaker who has good but not necessarily perfect English language skills. However you need to have a commitment to speaking English at work, both to students and colleagues.

You will replacing a teacher who has been with us for 6 years, so we are looking for someone to stay. Watchara Wittaya School is a government school in Kamphaeng Phet with an established English Program. Mathematics is taught in English in M 1, M 2 and M 3 classes.

The program has its own dedicated building, so there are lots of opportunities for interaction with students. All rooms are air conditioned, including the staff room.

Kamphaeng Phet is an historical, picturesque, river city 350 kilometres north of Bangkok. It is a transport hub so catching a Bus is easy. Living costs are low. There are all the usual Thai markets and cheap restaurants as well as a large Makro and a Tesco supermarket.
