TEACH ENGLISH DURING SUMMER IN MYANMAR
Horizon Int'l School is one of the leading schools in Myanmar with its branches in Yangon and Mandalay. We're looking for experienced, enthusiastic English Language Teachers for our Summer School program. It starts on 14th of March and ends on 13th of May 2011.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Native English speakers - advanced and ultra-confident non-natives accepted
-A university graduate from the field preferred
-TESOL Certificate holders preferred
-teachers with at least two years of teaching experience preferred
-Enthusiastic, friendly, positive-thinking, hard-working, patient
-Team-oriented and children-loving!

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Starting Date: March 14th, 2011
- Ending Date: May 13th, 2011
- Number of positions available: 20+
- Working hours: 8:00 am to 5.00pm
- Teaching hours: 30 hours/ week (Monday through Friday)
- Class size: 16 students max.
- Student age: 6 to 16
- Contract period: 2 months (March-April)
Teachers who prove their skills in teaching, who show a great extent of enthusiasm and dedication, who like the environment and willing to stay further, will be given, on a mutual agreement, a 2-term (one academic year) contract. Therefore, this 8-week period of summer school will serve as their probation period. Our academic year of 11-12 starts on 30th of May 11 and ends 10th of March 12. The terms of employment for the new academic year will be pleasantly different from the terms of the contract for Summer School.
