Demonstration School of Khon Kaen University requires teachers for elementary school

1. Qualifications
• native English speaker
• holds a bachelor degree or higher (majoring in elementary education will be advantage)
• has a teaching experience in elementary school or graduates in the field of teaching
• holds a teaching license of any country will be advantage
• should not be over 60 years old
2. Job Description
• works closely with Thai co-teachers to teach at least 16 hours but not over than 22 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• participates or joins organizing the learner development activities or academic events hosted by the school (e.g., English/Science/Math Camp, Teacher Day, consultancy for students, professional development workshop, welcoming foreign visitors, etc.) which may involve some evening or weekend work
3. Remuneration (40,000 THB per month)
• Salary of 30,000 THB (3-5% of 15,000 Baht but not more than 750
THB, depending on current policy and formal announcement of the Social Security Office, is deducted for Social Security Fund)
• Housing allowance of 5,000 THB
• Get an allowance of teaching experience up to 5,000 THB
4. Benefits and Welfares
• fees for application and extension of work permit
• fees for visa extension (exclude visa application)
• social welfare (free medical service based on regulations of social welfare)
5. Employment Period
• 12-month hiring contract
• Evaluation of work will be made before a semester ends. When semester ends, employment may be terminated if employee does not pass the evaluation criteria.
