Due to a sudden opening, we are looking for an experienced Primary Years Teacher to join our school in beautiful Thailand. Sarasas Ratchaphruek School on Highway 345 in Nonthaburi is a fast-paced growing school with 30+ campuses all across the country. There are nearly 4,000 students and more than 100 foreign professionals making up the English Department. Our campus offers bilingual education to pupils from 2 - 18 years of age.
As such, we require an experienced Primary Years Teacher to join our leadership team and help drive the implementation of strong English skills. The successful candidate will take on a hands on homeroom position with no more than 25 pupils per class. Lesson material is complete and prepared.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Primary Years Teaching experience
• Degree in any field
• Adaptable, flexible, community minded and student centred
• A commitment to international mindedness
• Acceptance of Thai culture
• Professional work ethic and behaviour
It would be advantageous for the candidate to have the following:
• Experience of the UK curriculum
• ICT experience and applications for student learning
• PYP / EYP creative workshop experience
• Drama or music experience
• Leadership experience in school environments
Experience in teaching in Thailand is an advantage, however what is more important is the willingness to recognise the diversity that exists in the student body and not to teach from a mono-cultural perspective. We are primarily looking for teachers who will be able to inspire in their students a love for learning.
Teachers are expected to be efficient, professional, good team members and ambassadors for the School. All staff are issued a 12 month fully paid contract with paid holidays.
