Part-time Part-time lecturers for business related subjects(several positions)

Looking for lecturers for Undergraduate level (BBA) to contribute effectively to the successful learning experiences of students in the Bangkok School of Management through effective teaching that meets or exceeds our standards and results in high levels of student retention and achievement as well as to demonstrate a commitment to meeting the Professional Teaching Standards in support of the learner journey.

Subjects available to teach:

• Business Research Method
• Financial Management
• Information System in Organization(ICT in Business)
• E-commerce
• Business Statistics

Bangkok school of management with the entrepreneurial mindset encourages practical and experiential learning and teaching methods. We provide an environment for our teachers to grow both academically and professionally.

Qualified to Degree level in relevant subject

• To be a qualified teacher (or willing to work towards achieving within an agreed timeframe)
• Minimum of BBA degree(MBA or higher is preferred)
• Qualification in IT

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of the subject specialism, in order to teach on Business qualifications
• Be creative and innovative in selecting and adapting strategies to help learners to learn (Gamification curriculum, quest-based learning, etc.)
• Ability to inspire, motivate and raise aspirations of learners through your enthusiasm and knowledge
• To manage and promote positive learner behavior
• Ability to demonstrate the use of ILT within a Teaching and Learning environment
• Confidence to work and support young people of mixed ability

Experience

• Comprehensive, recent experience of working in a Business environment Experience of delivering lessons at a standard of ‘Good’ or above
• Previous experience of working in Further Education(preferred)
• Previous experience of course co-ordination
• Knowledge/experience of the Apprenticeship framework within the relevant subject
• Evidence of industry engagement (would be a plus)

In addition to the applicant’s ability to perform the duties of the post, if shortlisted, the interview will also explore issues relating to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children including:
• Motivation to work with young people
• Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with young people
• Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviors and
• Attitudes to use of authority and maintaining discipline
