GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
A. General Duties Subject Teachers:
1. Get to know each student of your subjects.
2. Be available and approachable, setting tones of friendship.
3. Encourage students to feel “important” and to be moral persons.
4. Monitor behavior, advice and encourage observance of School Code.
5. Set positive learning experiences
II. Retention
Goal: to monitor the learning of individual students and communicate with parents
1. Records
a. Keep accurate records of attendance
b. Check homework and grade on time
c. Provide feedback to students and parents of students’ progress
2. Report
a. Report to the Discipline person any student absent for with in that subject.
b. Report to the Discipline person any student with a pattern of late arrival or
behavior problems
c. Refer matters of concern or risk to Coordinator for the attention
d. Refer to Parents when issues of concern arise
3. Communicate
a. Write homework/assignments on the board to remind students.
d. Discuss issues of relevance with the students
c. Give feedback to the Coordinator when issues of importance have been discussed
f. Dialogue with Counselors, Parents, or with the student’s other teachers when
there is concern


4. Support and Care
a. Set a tone of kindness, openness and friendship with the students
b. Be available, with set times for sharing one-on-one
c. Dialogue with the homeroom group on matters that interest them
III. Enhance the acceptance of cultural diversity
Goal: To encourage and enrich the variety of culture
1. Develop Community Spirit
a. Plan team-building activities, assist in school events
d. Collaborative work of Thai and Non-Thai teachers in planning activities for students
together
c. Actively participate and plan activities organized by school/ teachers
d. Organize cultural activities with students
2. Support and Care
a. Set a tone of kindness, openness and friendship with the students
b. Be available, with set times for sharing one-on-one
c. Dialogue with the homeroom group on matters that interest them
d. Welcome Parents for dialogue as needs or occasions arise

IV. Collaboration with other teachers in Teaching and learning ( Co-teaching/ collaborative
Teaching)
a. Participate in Homeroom Teacher meetings when needed
b. Thai and Non- Thai teachers align curriculum, plan course syllabus, lesson plan,
resources and class activities together with HOD as advisor
c. Work together with level teachers in enhancing learner outcomes
d. Attend faculty meeting and other meeting for teachers



V. Teaching and Learning to enhance quality of Learner outcomes
a. Plan and turn in course syllabus and lesson plan on time
b. Check student’s work and provide prompt feedback
c. Meet with other teachers to plan curriculum
d. Assess your own teaching and learning on the regular basis
e. Reflect on students’ achievement and try to adjust your teaching to enhance
student’s learning
VI. Other Duties
a. Model high expectations of student and staff
b. Conserve resources and protect SBS property
c. Support and cooperate with School Director, coordinators, and HOD
d. Take responsibilities as assigned by administrators
TIME REQUIREMENTS
1. Extended period (a 30- to 45-minute period once a week)
• Plan and facilitate lessons related to the curriculum.
• Work with other teachers to organize activities.
2. Meetings
• General Homeroom Teacher meetings once a month and when needed otherwise
• Grade-level meetings once a month

• Professional development

YOU ARE

Native English speaker from either the United Kingdom, The United States of America, Canada, Ire-land, Australia, or New Zealand.

Bachelor degree of Education

Min 2 year Experience in teaching.


Working: Monday to Friday
Location: Rangsi, Pathum thaini
Salary provide: Depends on teaching experience plus visa and work permit.
