American Academy English Language Centre (AMA) is hiring many Full-Time NES Teachers. We need you for beautiful Surat Thani in Thailand! We need many qualified teachers to teach at a public school in the area.

Candidates must agree to a 12 month contract:

Requirements:
• Native English speaker (American, Australian, Canadian, New Zealander, British, Irish, or South African)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• TEFL/CELTA/TESOL/ESL certificate
• Professional, with business communication and development skills
• (Bonus: Experience teaching kids/teens in a traditional classroom setting)
• (Bonus: Experience teaching in SeA)

We offer:
Salary is ฿38,000/100hrs/month
Full-Time hours will be 4-8 hours per day, 5 days per week (Saturday and Sunday off) – Teaching 90+ hours/month at the school, and 10+ hours/month teaching at our AMA language center.
• Visa support (long term position)

• At least 15 days of Holidays

Duties: FTDP Schools – Love teaching kids and teens – Number of students: 35-45 – Teaching Method: Focus more on games and activities; slow communication and easy words – Teaching Tasks: + follow syllabus (including pre-lesson prep)
+ correct and mark tests, send results school’s head
+ many ‘mini’ tests. Teacher creates speaking and mini tests based on the current or review lesson
+ two main tests: mid-term and final (AMA will provide tests of reading, listening & writing)

(AMA Language branches)
• Teaching English to kids and teens in our ‘Active Learning’ model
• Sessions are short, semi-private, interactive, one-on-one lessons. (not classroom style)
• Guaranteed minimum of 20 hours/month
• (and/or) Teaching adults in IELTS/TOEIC/TOEFL/FCE for exam preparation
• (and/or) Teaching adults in our ‘Active Learning Communicative English’ (ALCE) program (1:1, 1:3, or 1:5)
• (and/or) Participating in other ad hoc curriculums such as English Corner, Master Pronunciation, and Cross-Curriculum sessions
• Work with local staff for direction on students’ studies and progress
