IDEAL English Academy is looking for innovative and inspirational Kindergarten and Primary school teachers to join our Intensive English Program at Mary Immaculate Convent School.

IDEAL Chon Buri Intensive English Program has a working culture where we all support one another and encourage sharing of ideas. Our teachers must have the ability to be patient with our students, support them in their learning, and understand and develop creative solutions to overcome the barriers that make the process of English teaching in Thailand a challenge.

Our program has a friendly and fun culture embracing activities such as pizza lunches, outings to local restaurants, and an end of school year trip. For example, IDEAL Chon Buri Intensive English Program teachers spent three days at a lovely hotel resort in Koh Chang at the conclusion of the school year.

IDEAL encourages creative lessons, and our teachers have implemented a range of fun projects such as making Halloween masks and participating in ‘trick or treat’ activities, making Father’s day cards, class performances, and singing clubs.

We are offering an attractive package, including:

• A competitive salary from 36,000 -38,000B per month
• A contract completion bonus of up to 30,000BHT along with an annual salary increase
• All usual Thai school holidays along with Christmas holidays
• 20 Annual Leave days
• Flexible working hours during school calendar holidays implementing ‘work from home policies’
• Work permit cost
• AIA Health Insurance

We also welcome teachers who are young and new to Thailand with less than one year of teaching experience to apply for the position. We provide support with lesson planning, classroom management, and materials development. Our small team works together to help ensure our teachers are slowly but gradually introduced into the program.
IDEAL seeks to provide as much support as possible for new teachers offering suggestions on local accommodation, restaurants, shopping, transportation, and visa matters.
