AMA English Language School (American Academy) is currently hiring for Full-Time & Part-Time NES Teachers to work at our new Bangkok location.

Our brand new Thai based HQ is currently being built in Bangkok (Bang Kapi), therefore preference to candidates currently in Bangkok/Thailand are offered foremost, though any NES location is welcomed to apply. Candidates are expected to formally apply based on the full package, where preliminary interviews will be conducted in person at the BKK HQ, or by Skype if not currently in Bangkok.

Brief:
-Full/Part-Time Position in Bangkok
-Placement/Training first in Vietnam (HCMC, or other province) for 1-3-6 months (with visa)
-Return to Bangkok after initial training is complete

Provided:
-Round trip ticket (available to candidates to and from Bangkok only)
-Accommodation (HCMC during training)
-Minimum 100 hours / month (25 hours/week) = $1000USD/month
-Attention given to all Thai/Vietnamese holidays

Duties:
•Teaching English to kids, teens, and adults in our ‘Active Learning’ model. (not classroom style, rather semi-private, interactive, and one-on-one)
•Sessions are short, semi-private, one-on-one lessons
•(and/or) Teaching Adults in IELTS/TOEIC/TOEFL/FCE for exam preparation
•(and/or) Teaching Adults in our ‘Active Learning Communicative English’ (ALCE) program (1:1 or 1:5)
•Working with local staff for direction on students’ studies and progress

Requirements:
•Native English speaker
•A bachelor’s degree or higher
•A TEFL/CELTA/TESOL certificate
•Professional, with business communication and development skills
•Plus: Experience teaching IETLS/TOEIC/FCE/TOEFL
•Plus: Experience teaching in SeA

We offer:
•12 month contract
•Minimum 100 teaching hours per month
•Work Permit support (upon return to Bangkok)
•Overtime pay
